**The Kinards**: 25 weeks!

Holy Moly! Today I am 25 weeks & 1 day pregnant with our sweet Aubrey! It's been hard for me to update since we still aren't in our new house and don't have much access to the internet. So, I definitely need to do some updating! Let's see, what have we been up to besides working?

My 24th birthday was May 28th, so I celebrated with some of my favorite girlfriends on Thursday the 27th. It's also my bff's bday the 26th, so every year it's tradition to have some kind of joint celebration together since we have all the same friends anyway! This year we decided to keep it low key and had a girl's night at Fonduely Yours in Mt. Pleasant. It was yummy and so fun! I think everyone had a great time!

The next night, Friday, was my birthday night! I didn't do much that day but relax :) We met up with my family and some of Ryan's family at Crab Shack for dinner! Aubrey had been wantin' some crab legs :) She was happy afterwards! I just love family time, I had a great birthday! Next year will be even more special when Aubrey is here to celebrate with us!

The next day, me and Melissa (ryan's sis) took me to get a prenatal massage at Urban Nirvana! I was so excited, it was my first massage ever. Let me just tell you, I was WORTHLESS the rest of the day, I was SO relaxed! What a great gift! We should have taken a pic of us when we left, both of us looked so funny b/c of the oil that got in our hair! Grease balls, but happy grease balls :) :) Thanks to Melissa & Ryan's parents for that sweet & MUCH needed gift!!

Monday May 31st was Memorial Day! Ryan had to work :( so I headed to spend some time with the fam and hang by the pool. Well, that was the plan. The weather was terrible. It didn't rain but looked so nasty outside, so no tanning for this momma-to-be :( BOO! We did go by and see the house though! I love it!! Can't wait to move in the end of the month!!!

I took the time to think about how lucky I am, that I get to live freely & go about daily life as I please, that I am home with my family just around the corner, that I see my husband every day. I said prayers for the many soldiers current and past that have fought and are still fighting for our country today. Not just on Memorial Day or the 4th, but everyday I am thankful for them and ask God to keep them safe! Good news, my brother-in-law got to come home Sunday (the day before) for two weeks with his family. I know they were SO happy to see them! We all were happy to see him home safe and sound!! We spent time with them last Wednesday night for dinner & I get to spend a little more time with them last Friday for an early birthday party for sweet Marissa Michelle who is turning TWO on June 18th!!! I can hardly believe it. She is just so smart and sassy, we love her!! I know the Kinards are enjoying their time before Eric has to go back for a few more months :( We'll continue to pray for you, Eric! We enjoyed seeing you!

That brings me to today! I am 25 weeks & 1 day pregnant & loving every minute!! Being pregnant is truly a blessing. I had an appointment May 23rd, everything looked great. I have gained 8 pounds total, my BP was great, her heart rate was 160, and I was measuring a week ahead! :) My book says this week she weighs over 1 pound & her nostrils have opened which means she'll start getting the hick-ups soon! I'm thinking I've felt them but I'm not too sure, being this is my first time & everything! She is gaining about 6 oz a week, crazy, huh?! My next appointment is in a couple weeks, so more updating then. I'll be getting my glucose test done probably the morning of the appointment while I'm still at work. I'm still feeling great, my only complaint is still some upper back pain. My face has cleared up a LOT, which I am VERY grateful for! Still continuing to love the fruit & veggies! Little Miss Aubrey gets really fired up over some chick-fil-a! She moves the most after I eat that! Last night, I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. When I got back in bed, she was kicking like CRAZZZY! Ryan was sleeping of course, but I grabbed his hand and placed it on my stomach and he woke up b/c she kicked him so hard! haha :) She kicked constantly for a good 30-45 minutes straight before she went back to sleep, then was back at it first thing at 7am. Needless to say, I had a chick-fil-a sandwich for dinner last night :) Here is my picture I took today, it's not great but my mom insisted I take one before she goes to visit my grandma today for a family wedding! I wish I could go, but that's a no since I work weekends :( Hope everyone has a great week!!
